What is determining your future?

Are past disappointments determining your future?

A heart that carries disappointment can cover up even the biggest and shiniest genius.

When there is hidden disappointment in our hearts, it is hard to believe and have faith.
It’s hard to give chances and take chances. It’s hard to take risks.

But without taking chances and risking, there is no life.

Allan Watts puts it beautifully into words:

“Taking this ghastly risk is the condition of there being life. You see, for all life is an act of faith and an act of gamble. The moment you take a step, you do so on an act of faith because you don’t really know that the floor’s not going to give under your feet. The moment you take a journey, what an act of faith.”

I myself have been stuck in disappointment for a long time in the past, not taking risks anymore, not believing or even trying. I entered a weird state of waiting for something from the outside to convince me that something is worth trying, that it’s the right time, that someone is worth investing in, that there are options and possibilities, that everything is going to be ok.

After waiting and waiting and too much of the pain of nothing happening, I woke up and realised that none of this is going to happen, because what I am doing is saying NO to my creator power.

It suddenly hit me that there is no one and nothing that is going to create my life for me, to open possibilities and convince me of my worth, my mission or of the chances of success.

In this process of waking up, it was suddenly all so clear to me, that there is no life without risk. That there is no other direction for me in life than going big and going all in for what I want. That there is no one to create my life for me than me. And that if I don’t try, I will never get where I want.

Oh, what liberation! One moment after, I started acting, made big decisions and started turning my life around.

I learned that success is not something that happens, it is made.
I learned that motivation doesn’t just appear. It’s trained.
I learned that dreams don’t just find us, we also choose them.
I learned that a mission doesn’t appear. It’s created.
I learned that forward is the only direction.
And that a full heart is the only way to succeed.

I healed my heart of disappointment and found to the infinite creative power that lies within through it.
And I only have one thought now: that it’s simple.
It’s not always simple to go for our dreams and that’s not the idea here. But how it works is simple. I know this, because I understood:

Nothing can be as bad as not being in one’s creative power and not holding life in one’s own hands.
Nothing can be as bad as staying stuck in not trying.
Nothing can be as bad as feeling like a victim in one’s own life.
Nothing can be as bad as not believing in anything.

Because that means inner death.

Having woken up, it was clear to me there is no other option than going ALL IN.
Because now I know, not just in theory, that even trying and falling is not as bad as the pain of not trying at all.

The biggest loss and the biggest pain is not trying at all.

That’s what an ATHLETE does. They try, they fall and then try again not taking away the possibility of winning from them just because it didn’t work the first time, or the second time or even the third time.

When you decide that not going for it is not an option anymore,
when you decide that not trying is not an option anymore,
that’s when you step into your power and activate the remembrance of who you truly are: creator.

Apply for the THE ATHLETE to go all in on these energies.
